Located at the Gym of the Guadalupe Church on Don Fernando Street behind the Plaza Saturday each Saturday through April 6, 10 to 2:00pm.
From market organizer, Peter Rose: "The Red Willow Market at Taos Pueblo is closed and is now at the Winter Market every Saturday until April 14 (closing date) with their fresh vegetables. We also have from the Pueblo fresh eggs. Germonimo is there with his bread and the most delicious fresh cream puffs in Taos, Henrietta Gonzales from the Pueblo has blue corn tamales. Come and enjoy!"
Over fifty vendors. Among them are Henrietta Gomez with her blue corn tamales, Dick Ergas with vintage Indian jewelry, Charles Acuna with stone knives and bows and arrows, Frana’s alpaca wool, Dana Blair with her special teas, Geronimo with his Horno breads, Alexandra Rose with her prize winning pastries, Pepe’s Salsa, Cindy Stone with her amazing remedies for arthritis and insomnia, Fidel Garcia with his copper jewelry, Marie Claire Maurice with her micaceous jewelry, Juan Madrid’s bolo ties, Diane Eger’s silver jewelry, Mike Coleman’s leather belts, Leigh Gusterson’s paintings of local scenes, Kathy Morsell’s pottery, Adrian Tann’s Persian rugs, Mose’s and Cameron’s handmade furniture, Eli Meyer’s Xmas wreaths with mistletoe, and many others.
