4th Annual Nashville to New Mexico Outdoor Concert

Angel Fire/Eagle Nest: Enchanted Eagle Pk., Eagle Nest, 5-8:00pm
4th Annual Nashville to New Mexico Outdoor Concert

Nashville, known as the Mecca of songwriting, is and always has been the center of inspiration for country performers and songwriters. Northern New Mexico has recently become another place that inspires colorful and musically creative individuals.

Billy Dawson is bringing the inspirational songwriting from Nashville to the awe-striking Sangre de Cristo Mountains of New Mexico accompanied by country music writers/performers Jeffrey Steele, Rivers Rutherford, and Lainey Edwards.

Billy Dawson is a multi-talented singer, songwriter, entertainer, author, and motivational speaker who has recently been awarded artist of the year, best country male vocalist and best country live performer by Nashville Independent Music Awards. Accompanying him are these stellar songwriters and performers, as follows:

Jeffrey Steele is a 5-time Grammy nominee, a member of the Nashville Songwriter’s Hall of Fame, honored by the Country Music Hall of Fame as a Poet and Prophet, twice awarded BMI Songwriter of the Year and thrice the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI) Songwriter of the Year. Jeffrey has been named one of Billboard Magazine’s top 5 writer’s 8 years in a row.

Rivers Rutherford is one of Nashville, Tennessee’s (and music’s) most talented and accomplished singer-songwriters. Having grown up in Memphis, Rutherford came out of the gates swinging, landing his first cut with American legends Johnny Cash, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson and Kris Kristofferson (aka The Highwaymen). What followed were 8 #1 hits, multiple Grammys, CMA and ACM nominations, and over 20 ASCAP Awards, including both of the coveted awards for Country Song Of The Year and Songwriter Of The Year.

Finally, we’ll see Lainey Edwards with her powerful, velvety voice to say the very least. She’s from Oklahoma, and her music beautifully portrays her appreciation for the Native American roots and family heritage there. She took home the fan-voted award Best Country Female Vocalist from the Nashville Industry Music Awards in 2015, and continues to be a positive influence for music-loving people of all ages.

Event tickets will be available online soon.
